Field Notes

 9\27\14

"It's Saturday afternoon and it's lightly raining outside. My roses seem happy because they're getting watered by the mositure condensed from the atmosphere that falls visibly in seperate drops. As I'm looking at my roses, I don't seem to find any other life around them. It seems like the earwigs are hiding because it's still daytime and raining. The soil looks darkened, rich, full of water, and I can sense that the worms are about to emerge from beneath. Hopefully this rain helps my bottom right rose straighten up !"
